Aurora is grateful for weekly assistance with groceries she receives

Aurora lives in the city of San Fernando. She needs to work seven days a week to cover her expenses, but even with all of that effort, she falls short.

“I heard about the food bank at the Lighthouse of San Fernando and came to get food for my family,” said Aurora, who is using the items to supplement her food budget. “I feel very grateful.”

Aurora signed up to volunteer, and wants to give hope to other families that are in her situation.

The pantry at Lighthouse of San Fernando is located at 622 N. Maclay Ave. in San Fernando. It operates every Friday from 3 to 4 p.m.
