Meet Amparo. She, along with her husband Abraham, was a first-time participant of the House, A Church Family Food Pantry. The couple, along with 90 more families, received fruits, vegetables, bread, and more at the food distribution ministry of our church. We have been ministering in the Reseda community for more than six years now through the generosity of the Rescue Mission Alliance Valley Food Bank.

Amparo, like many others, was overwhelmed with joy as she collected the items that would greatly minimize the stress on their family’s food budget. About half of the participants during the fourth Saturday morning of every month regularly receive healthy food items from the Rescue Mission Alliance Valley Food Bank and their faithful donors. We are very grateful that through this ministry we are able to meet new people who spread the word of this generous giving. Amparo, Abraham, and their four other household members have surely been helped by this outreach.
