We’re excited to once again be a charity partner for Albertsons, Pavilions and Vons’ Nourishing Neighbors program. When you visit a local Albertsons, Pavilions or Vons store and make a donation to the Nourishing Neighbors campaign at checkout this month, the funds will go directly to the Rescue Mission Alliance Valley Food Bank. Your donation will help us ensure every child in our neighborhood has access to healthy meals.

This campaign runs through the end of September, so please think of us next time you’re doing your grocery shopping. There is plenty of time to stop by the store and give!

Nourishing Neighbors, formerly named Hunger Is, is working to eradicate childhood hunger in our local community. With one in seven children in our neighborhoods not knowing where their next meal will come from, it is a big problem. Nourishing Neighbors raises awareness, engages volunteers, and raises funds to support innovative and effective programs focused on this mission.
