Longtime volunteer insists: ‘It’s not about me’

For nearly seven years Warren has been a faithful volunteer, working Monday through Friday at our Pacoima warehouse. He has mastered all the various tasks and helps to train other new volunteers.  Warren has assisted at other non-profits but chose to help at the Rescue Mission Alliance Valley Food Bank.  When asked why he volunteered at the Food Bank, Warren said it was because “it is like family.”

Warren would be the first to share that it is not about him but a passion he has to lend a hand for the benefit of others that are in need. He learned at an early age that with privilege comes responsibility and helping others less fortunate has been a trait demonstrated by all of his family.  Warren is faithful and reliable and a tremendous asset to the Rescue Mission Alliance Valley Food Bank team.

He is a serious hockey fan and loves the Kings and often quotes their motto: “Pride=Passion=Power.” Thank you Warren for all that you do!
