RMA AV and MHALA unite to build a healthier community

At-risk individuals receive food, hygiene kits

At Mental Health America of Los Angeles in Antelope Valley, we are dedicated to supporting low-income adults and transition-age youth with mental health needs, including veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to the RMA Antelope Valley team through a colleague, and I’ve been deeply impressed by the work they do. The food bank has generously partnered with us by donating fresh, nutritious food to our Homeless Service Center, ensuring that our unhoused neighbors have access to healthy meals.

RMA AV Warehouse Manager Rony Aguilar added: “We are incredibly grateful for the support of MHALA and are proud to work together to build a healthier Antelope Valley. We are thankful for all the work that Hannah does at MHALA. Through our partnership we are able to provide much-needed resources to our Antelope Valley community by donating hygiene kits and fresh produce every month. Our partnership is a blessing to our community.”
