Scott doesn’t just come for the food—he likes chatting with the pastor and now even attends services at La Voz on Sunday.

This list is “simply put,” why the food pantry is such a blessing to Scott. He wrote:

“Simply Put:

1. I come to the food pantry for the great food, which helps my monthly budget as my finances have been more difficult to handle.
2. I appreciate the hot meal that is prepared for lunch.
3. I am thankful for the clothes that help to keep me warm.
4. I enjoy chatting with the pastor.
5. I live just a few blocks away.
6. Lastly, I now come to the Sunday service at 10:15 am because I feel good about coming to this church.”
