Zulma gets reprieve from La Voz pantry

I’m Zulma from San Fernando. I have been visiting the La Voz Sylmar Seventh Day Adventist Church pantry for three years. The food they give to us is a blessing for me and my two children.

Since the pandemic started, I have been struggling, especially with teenagers. Everything is getting so expensive for us. I share my food with my neighbor because they don’t have a car. They are in need—even with all of the government (assistance) systems in place, the help isn’t enough. The pantry helps by giving me an extra box of food for them.

Please don’t stop helping people in need like my family. Without the food we receive at the pantry, we wouldn’t make it through those difficult days.
